ONF will come back with its seventh EP “Love Effect” on Oct. 4, the boy band’s agency WM Entertainment said Tuesday.
“Love Effect” will be the boy band’s first album release with album promotions in almost two years since the release of its sixth EP, “Goosebumps” in December 2021. Following the release of “Goosebumps,” five out of the six members took turns to complete their mandatory military service.
The boy band also dropped a special album “Storage of ONF” in August 2022 during its hiatus, which the members prepared before their enlistment as a gift to their fans.
ONF’s upcoming album will “open the second chapter” of the boy band, according to WM Entertainment.
ONF debuted in 2017 with its first EP “ON/OFF.” Five of the six members of Korean nationality have decided to start their compulsory military service around the same period “to minimize the group’s downtime.” ONF held a fan meeting, “Be Here Now,” in July, a month after the five members completed their mandatory military service.
The band consists of one Japanese member, U, and five Korean members: Hyojin, E-Tion, J-Us, Wyatt and MK.
