Delivery platform Delivus jumps on the bandwagon of quick delivery

“Logistics have become an indispensable part of the online shopping business,” said Kim Yong-jae, chief executive officer at Delivus. “I believe that faster delivery at cheaper costs is an obvious choice for consumers.”
Delivus focuses on speedy delivery solutions. It offers Delirabbit, a same-day delivery service at a cost similar to conventional delivery services. Delirabbit is designed to deliver goods to customers within an average of 6 hours at a fee of about 2,000 won.
Delivus, founded in 2022, has grown fast enough to cover a daily average of 10,000 items. Its major customer is Zigzag, one of the country’s major fashion shopping malls.
“Fashion shopping platforms have high demand for quick delivery, but we have built a logistic system that transports all types of small parcels except for groceries,” Kim said.
The company’s speedy delivery service is based on a business model of direct delivery that secures goods from retail stores and classifies the items at once, according to the CEO.
Following the classification, parcels are stored in plastic boxes called Unit Box, which are loaded into unmanned regional hubs located in each region.
Delivery workers visit the hubs to take the boxes assigned to them by scanning the QR codes attached to the boxes and begin their optimized delivery routes as directed by the application.
“The rapid delivery service is currently available in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province but we plan to expand the service to Chungcheong Province later this year,” Kim said.
Delivus secured 4.6 billion won worth of investment in April. It targets 10 billion won in sales this year.
Delivus aims to implement new logistics solutions, such as to “meet growing demand for refund delivery services.”
