Singer-songwriter IU's concert live recording film will open in cinemas worldwide starting with Korea on Sept. 13, her agency EDAM Entertainment said Wednesday.
Titled "IU Concert: The Golden Hour," the film is set to premiere in Korea, exclusively at CGV theaters, on Sept. 13, followed by releases in 38 nations worldwide starting Sept. 28 and 29, including the United States, Britain, Germany, Japan, Mexico, Australia and more.
The film is a live recording of IU's 2022 concert held at southern Seoul's Olympic Main Stadium, Korea's largest sports and music venue, on Sept. 17 and 18. The two-day concert made IU the first female Korean singer to perform at the venue, bringing more than 40,000 fans to the arena each day.
"IU Concert" will also be available in IMAX theaters, according to EDAM Entertainment.
The film will last for two hours and 50 minutes. IU's 2022 concert saw the singer performing 25 tracks spanning across her discography, including "Good Day" (2010), "YOU&I" (2011), "Celebrity" (2021) and more.
