The re-release of “Oldboy,” which hit theaters on Aug. 16 in the U.S., hit $1.26 million as of Thursday, according to the latest data from aggregator Box Office Mojo.
“Oldboy” tells the story of Oh Dae-su, played by Choi Min-sik, who gets locked up in a hotel room for no reason apparent to him. After he is released from captivity, he goes on a mission to find those who had jailed him. Kang Hye-jung, Yoo Ji-tae and Yoo Yeon-seok play supporting roles.
