Indian paramilitary CRPF gets sophisticated vehicles to fight militancy in Kashmir

The CRPF inducted India-made Wheeled Armoured Amphibious Platform (WhAP) and Critical Situation Response Vehicles (CSRV) vehicles for operational purposes in Kashmir including law and order situations and countering militant activities. The sophisticated WhAP vehicle is capable of operating on land and also in marshy areas and streams using their water jets. The CSRV can accommodate at least three commandos and be raised to reach the upper floors of a building while shielding them in anti-militant operations in urban areas of Kashmir. EPA/FAROOQ KHAN
