Since its release last month, "Seven" has been available in nine different versions, including the clean and explicit versions as well as "Festival Mix" or "Nightfall Mix."
"'Seven' was created by five composers from overseas, so it has nothing to do with the Korean song from 24 years ago," the agency said in a press release, adding that any resemblances between the two songs "do not comply with any of the criteria [that define plagiarism]" and are "one-sided opinions."

BTS's Jungkook will release a remix of his first solo single, "Seven," on Friday with Swedish DJ Alesso, BigHit Music said Thursday.
The remix version has reinterpreted the song into a progressive house song.
Since its release last month, "Seven" has been available in nine different versions, including the clean and explicit versions as well as "Festival Mix" or "Nightfall Mix."
Meanwhile, BigHit Music denied claims that "Seven" plagiarized girl group Fin.K.L's "Time of Mask" earlier this week.
"'Seven' was created by five composers from overseas, so it has nothing to do with the Korean song from 24 years ago," the agency said in a press release, adding that any resemblances between the two songs "do not comply with any of the criteria [that define plagiarism]" and are "one-sided opinions."
The accusation had been made by the composer of the 1999 song, Yang Joon-young.
"Seven" topped Spotify's Weekly Top Songs Global chart for five weeks straight as well as the Daily Top Songs Global chart for 39 days.
