Blackpink will complete its world tour “Born Pink,” which brought more than 1.75 million fans together worldwide, with a finale concert at the Gocheok Dome on Sept. 16 and 17, the girl group’s agency YG Entertainment said Thursday.
Gocheok Sky Dome, the indoor baseball stadium located in Guro District, western Seoul, is Korea’s largest indoor performance stadium that can hold more than 20,000 concertgoers. The stadium can hold almost double the audience capacity compared to the KSPO Dome in southern Seoul, which is where the girl group began its world tour almost a full year ago in October 2022.
"Concert in Korea, let's go!" said Jennie on her Instagram. "See you at the Gocheok Dome, the finale of the year-long tour."
It makes Blackpink Korea’s first female act to perform at the Gocheok Sky Dome.
Ticket sales will take place next Tuesday at 8 p.m. for members of Blink, the girl group's official fan club. General sales will begin on Sept. 1 at 7 p.m.
Through the year-long world tour, Blackpink went around the world, performing 64 total concerts held in 24 different countries and 34 different cities worldwide. The girl group visited cities in Asia, Oceania, Europe, North America and the Middle East, making it the furthest reaching world tour by a K-pop girl group.
The second day of the concert will be livestreamed online through Weverse.
