Loossemble will launch its activities with its first EP, "Loossemble," on Sept. 15, its agency CTDENM said Wednesday.
Loossemble, which stands for Loona Assemble, consists of five former members of girl group Loona — Hyunjin, Yeojin, Vivi, Gowon and Hyeju. The group name refers to the five members coming together as one.
A teaser released on Wednesday showed that the group will drop photo teasers starting Friday, followed by announcing the track list on Sept. 7 and releasing music video teasers on Sept. 11 and 13.
Sept. 15 is also the day the girl group kicks off its "Debut Ceremony" tour across 10 cities in the United States. The group announced this month that it plans to perform in New York, Washington, Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles and more.
"The girl group will kick off its activities in the United States, then return to Korea to continue its official activities," the agency said Monday, adding that there will be a "finale" in Korea following the U.S. shows.
