Islamabad high court adjourns Imran Khan's appeal in toshakhana case to 24 August

The Islamabad High Court adjourned the hearing in the appeal of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief's Imran Khan's sentence in the Toshakhana case to 24 August. The PTI chairman is seeking suspension of his sentence, and the two-member bench will hear the petition. The Supreme Court has also formed a three-member bench to hear the PTI chief's petitions against the Islamabad High Court's ruling in the case. The former prime minister has challenged the remanding back of the case to the trial court, and the high court has rejected his request to transfer the case to another court.
