Two German teenagers who attended the World Scout Jamboree in Korea earlier this month were hospitalized in Jeju following a motorcycle accident Thursday.
The two 18-year-old Germans, reportedly twin sisters, were riding a motorcycle along a road in Daejeong-eup, Seogwipo, Jeju around noon when their vehicle hit a curbstone.
Local police and emergency workers reported that the sisters sustained facial and pelvic fractures and other injuries.
Police are currently investigating the accident but believe rider inexperience may have been a factor.
