Boy band Trendz will release its third single in September and start its first world tour the following month with a plan to perform in 20 countries around the world.
The band's new single "Still On My Way" will drop on Sept. 6, six months after its previous single "Blue Set Chapter. [New Dayz]" was released last March.
Producer Leez, who also worked on the boy band's previous two singles, took the helm for "Still On My Way," according to the band's agency Global H Media.
The untitled tour will begin in Asia, followed by 25 different states in the United States and continue in Europe. The band will perform in countries including Indonesia, Thailand, Japan, France and Britain. The tour's start date has not been set yet.
The band has performed in Indonesia, Kazakhstan and Japan in the past.
"With a new song and a global project, Trendz is aiming to become the next band to lead the K-pop scene in 2024," the agency said in a press release.
Trendz, pronounced "trend zee" debuted with seven members — Havit, Leon, Yoonwoo, Hankook, ra.L, Eunil and Yechan — in January 2022 with its first EP "Blue Set Chapter 1. Tracks." Before its debut, the band was known for uploading dance cover videos of other K-pop idol groups.
