Huh Yun-jin from girl group Le Sserafim released “blessing in disguise,” her fourth self-written track, on Monday.
The track was first revealed during Huh’s solo stage at the Weverse Festival held June in southern Seoul.
“This song best describes my past experiences,” Huh said in a press release.
“I’ve had a lot of twists and turns to get to where I am today, and I’ve only just recently realized the feelings of gratitude that I wasn’t able to feel back then. The feelings of gratitude and thankfulness possesses the power to see the world in a different way,” she explained.
“I hope people relate to this song, be able to challenge, overcome different things and ultimately have the feeling of ‘[it’s] even better’.”
The girl group began its first world tour “Flame Rises” with a two-day performance at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium on Saturday and Sunday and plans to head abroad, performing in Japan, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Thailand.
Source Music, the girl group’s agency, said 'blessing in disguise’ is a song that "describes the sense of regret after looking back into the past and the sense of fear and excitement, looking forward to a new beginning.”
“Which is why we felt that this moment, when the girl group embarks on its first world tour, is suitable for the release of the song.”
