BigHit Music, the agency behind BTS and Tomorrow X Together, will host a worldwide online audition to find members for its next boy band.
Titled “2023 BigHit Music Global Audition,” the agency will open the audition to participants born after 2005. Application to the audition can be submitted only on BigHit’s online website, and the application will close on Sept. 22.
Participants will be able to upload a single photo of themselves, according to the agency.
BigHit Music also collaborated with Naver’s camera and photo editing application SNOW to have its applicants try out SNOW’s AI profile feature for free, limited to 333 people per day. Participants will be able to use the photos generated by the AI profile feature, which costs around $3 to $5.
More information can be found on the agency's audition website.
BigHit Music, originally known as Big Hit Entertainment, is a subsidiary of HYBE. The agency debuted BTS in 2013 and Tomorrow X Together in 2019.
