American rock band Daughtry signed a partnership with Big Machine Label Group, a subsidiary of HYBE America, the entertainment agency said Thursday.

“I am so thrilled to be working with Scott and the entire Big Machine crew on this next record and beyond,” Chris Daughtry said in a press release.

“It’s very refreshing and exciting to have a team behind me that fully believes and supports my vision.”

Daughtry, formed and led by Chris Daughtry, was a finalist in the fifth season of “American Idol” (2002–). The band’s debut album, “Daughtry,” released in November 2006, landed No. 1 on Billboard’s main chart upon release. The band also received multiple American Music Awards, Billboard Music Awards and platinum records from the Record Industry Association of America throughout its career.

The band will drop a new single “Artificial” on Friday and embark on its U.S.-wide tour, “Bare Bones Tour,” performing in 26 cities around the United States.

Singers Aaron Lewis, Avenue Beat, Brantley Gilbert and other artists are under Big Machine Label Group.
