Twin giant panda cubs born at the Everland theme park in Yongin, Gyeonggi, have turned a month old.

The theme park on Monday released photos of the twin girls taken on Sunday, 30 days after the cubs were born on July 7. The baby bears now show clear panda-like features, including black fur around their eyes, ears and limbs and a plump physique.

The twins are yet to receive a name because giant pandas are customarily named 100 days after their birth due to their low survival rate.

The panda cubs now weigh 1.1 kilograms (2.43 pounds) and 1.2 kilograms each. They weighed 180 grams (6.3 ounces) and 140 grams, respectively, when they were born.

Giant pandas begin to crawl on their stomach and gain sight around a month after birth. They begin to move on all fours after four months.

Everland plans to reveal the twins to its visitors for the first time after they turn six months old, which is when giant pandas wean off milk and eat bamboo.

The twins are younger sisters of Fu Bao, the first giant panda naturally bred in Korea on July 20, 2020.
