Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (Kotra) will hold its annual Job Fair for International Students, inviting foreigners to meet recruiters and do on-site interviews.
The job fair will be held at Coex in Gangnam District, southern Seoul, on August 21 and 22.
Around 100 companies, such as SK bioscience, Posco Future M and NCSoft, will attend the fair. Companies will host job interviews, aiming to recruit a total of 240 employees through interviews at the fair.
Participants can sign up for interviews on the Kotra website by uploading their resume and cover letter.
Companies will schedule interviews only with selected candidates. Participants who weren't selected can do walk-in interviews at the job fair if spots are available.
Attendees will also be able to participate in resume review sessions, mock interviews and get their resume photo taken at other booths.
SK Bioscience, Pearl Abyss and Chapter Seoul will hold individual information sessions to give an overview of their company and what candidates they are looking for. Additional talks will be hosted by international students working at Korean companies, sharing their stories on job searching in Korea.
K-campus, Korea JoongAng Daily's service that provides guidance to international students about life in Korea, will also set up a booth at the fair. The service offers career-related information on its website, such as job postings for international students.
