Riize, SM Entertainment's new seven-member boy band, will debut on Sept. 4 with its first single "Get A Guitar," its agency announced Monday.
"Get A Guitar" will include two tracks, including a title track of the same name and "Memories," which will be released on Aug. 21 before the single.
"The upcoming album is themed around the members who spent time together preparing for its debut," SM Entertainment said in a press release Monday. "It will be an album that will open the new chapter in "Emotional Pop," Riize's signature genre."
The boy band also opened its promotional website on Monday, set to release a variety of content until the album releases in September.
The band's name Riize is a combination of the words rise and realize, "meaning to make something come true and embodies the message that it's a team that grows together and fulfills its dreams," according to the agency.
Riize consists of Shotaro, Eunseok, Sungchan, Wonbin, Seunghan, Sohee and Anton. Shotaro and Sungchan debuted in 2020 as members of boy band NCT.
