Security intensified in Karachi following sentencing of Pakistan's former prime minister Imran Khan to three years in jail

Imran Khan has been arrested by Punjab police after an Islamabad trial court found him guilty of 'corrupt practices' in the Toshakhana case, PTI's general secretary Omar Ayub confirmed. The court sentenced him to three years in prison and imposed a fine of Rs 100,000 for concealing details of Toshakhana gifts. Khan's lawyers were not present during the trial.
