Police on Friday apprehended a man in his 20s who possessed knives at Seoul Express Bus Terminal in southern Seoul.
The man was taken into custody at the site after a report was made to the police at around 10:39 a.m. that a man was walking around with a weapon, according to the Seocho Police Precinct.
Police confiscated two knives from the man.
No casualties have been reported.
The custody came a day after a 22-year-old man wielded a knife at a shopping center near Seohyeon Station in Bundang, Gyeonggi.
At least 14 were injured, and two are in critical condition, at risk of being brain dead.
