The all-new Range Rover Sport redefines what luxury SUVs should be. From its sophisticated design infused with modern luxury to intuitive technologies including top-notch features and power train, the new Range Rover Sport provides a whole new standard for luxury travel.
The SUV’s sleek surface and shortened overhang emphasize the car’s dynamic appearance. Additionally, the vehicle’s profile, which immediately catches the eye, and its layered details complete its elegant exterior design.
The smoothly connected side windows and body panels that use razor roof welding and flush glazing techniques further lessened the air friction by 15 percent compared to its predecessors with a drag coefficient of 0.29.
The driver-centered interior design of the new Range Rover Sport guarantees an immersive experience for the driver while on the road. In particular, the Command Driving Position provides an all-around view through a structure similar to a plane’s cockpit.
The headrest, which gently supports the driver’s head, spacious center console and high waistline offers an ultimate sense of comfort to the driver and offers an environment in which the driver can concentrate on driving.
The new models are loaded with inline six-cylinder Ingenium gasoline or diesel engines, with a mild hybrid system, enabling a smooth yet powerful performance. The P360 model possesses a maximum output of 355 horsepower with a maximum torque of 51 kilogram-meters, and it takes only 6 seconds to hit 100 kilometers per hour.
The D300 model has a maximum output of 296 horsepower with 66.3 kilogram meters of maximum torque, enabling it to reach 100 kilometers per hour in 6.6 seconds.
The new Range Rover Sport is also equipped with various state-of-the-art driving technologies. Introducing its Dynamic Air Suspension with Switchable Volume Air Springs, Land Rover expanded the vehicle's suspension operating range. Due to this, the pressure within the chamber increases during dynamic driving, allowing for more stable cornering and agile driving.
The optional Stormer Handling Pack, available in the new models, takes the vehicle's dynamic performance to a higher level. Dynamic Response Pro, included in this package, ensures stable chassis control by applying a maximum torque of 1,400 Newton-meters to each axle during sharp cornering.
In addition, the All Wheel Steering allows steering of the rear axles by up to a maximum of 7.3 degrees. This enhances stability during high-speed driving and provides increased maneuverability during low-speed driving.
The car also prioritizes drivers’ health, especially in harmful environmental conditions. The Cabin Air Purification Pro system implemented inside the car reduces various odors, bacteria and allergens, providing a healthier environment for passengers. This system ensures a pleasant indoor air quality not only in extreme off-road conditions but also in urban environments with high levels of exhaust emissions.
Lastly, Land Rover applied the PIVI Pro infotainment system to its new edition. Through the system, users are allowed to process multiple commands with just a couple of touches, and it can control up to 90 percent of the vehicle's functions.
The system also features a built-in GPS provided by T-map mobility company, a major map-navigation service provider in Korea. Additionally, via the Software-Over-The-Air (SOTA) updates, the vehicle can receive remote updates to stay current.
The new Range Rover Sport launched in four trims in Korea: P360 Dynamic SE, P360 Dynamic HSE, P360 Autobiography and D300 Dynamic HSE.
