Norwegian singer-songwriter Anna of the North will hold a solo concert next month in Seoul for the first time.
"Anna of the North The First Live In Seoul" will take place on Sept. 23 at the Hyundai Card Understage performance venue in Yongsan District, central Seoul.
Anna of the North was originally a duo with Anna Lotterud, an Oslo-based Norwegian singer-songwriter, and New Zealand producer Brady Daniell-Smith.
The duo first made its mark on the public with the remix version of the American electric music duo The Chainsmokers' "Sway" (2014) in 2014. The song was released through SoundCloud and garnered over 7 million streams.
Its official debut album "Lovers" was released in 2017, and its title track was featured in the Netflix film "To All The Boys I've Loved Before" in 2018.
Daniell-Smith left the duo in 2019, and Lotterud released Anna of the North's second album "Dream Girl" by herself the same year. The album's title track is best known as the background music of Apple's 2019 iPad commercial.
Anna of the North's most recent album "Crazy Life" (2022) was a nominee in the Best Pop category of 2023 Spellemannprisen, Norway's representative annual music awards.
Tickets for "Anna of the North The First Live In Seoul" will go on sale at noon on Aug. 8 and are available on ticket.melon.com.
