Five-member boy band POW will make its debut in September, according to newly-founded entertainment agency GRID on Wednesday.
POW includes Thai actor-turned-singer Yorch, who already has over 2 million followers on his social media. Contestant Yun Dong-yeon from SBS’s audition show “Loud” (2021), who is of Korean and Filipino descent, is also part of the group. The other three rookie members are Jungbin, Hyunbin and Hong.
The group name comes from the onomatopoeia for an explosion, signaling their entrance into the K-pop scene, according to GRID.
On Thursday, POW opened its official social media channels and revealed three different types of teaser videos. The videos reveal POW’s slogan, “Creating Culture Everyday.”
