Hyunjin, Yeojin, Vivi, Gowon and Hyeju, former members of girl group Loona, announced a new start as Loossemble, the girl group’s agency CTDENM said Monday.
“Loossemble will release a new album in the future and plans to communicate with its fans through a variety of content,” CTDENM said Monday.
Loossemble, which stands for Loona Assemble, refers to the five members coming together as one. The group’s name was first announced on Saturday during its first free fan meet and greet event, “Run Orbit.”
Chuu and Yves, two other former Loona members, made a surprise appearance at the fan meet and greet.
Hyunjin and Vivi first signed with newborn agency CTDENM in early June, followed by Yeojin, Go Won and Hyeju in July. Hyeju was previously known as Olivia Hye.
CTDENM was founded by Eric Yun, a former executive at BlockBerry Creative, Loona's former agency. All 12 members of the group, who started with Chuu in 2022, had their exclusive contracts with BlockBerry Creative suspended, citing unfair contract terms.
