IVE will return with new music in October.
"IVE is currently in preparation, aiming for a comeback in October. Further details will be announced at a later date," IVE's agency Starship Entertainment told the Korea JoongAng Daily on Friday.
It will be IVE's first Korean release since its first full-length album, "I've IVE," dropped back in April. IVE also dropped the Japanese EP "Wave" in May, followed by "I Want," a single released this month in collaboration with Pepsi.
IVE was chosen as Pepsi's brand ambassador in Korea this year. Multiple TV commercials and collaborated events have dropped throughout the year.
Consisting of six members — Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Wonyoung, Liz and Leeseo — the girl group debuted in December 2021 with the single "Eleven." It is best known for hit songs "Eleven," "Love Dive" (2022) and "I AM."
Starship Entertainment announced earlier this week that the agency plans to take legal action against Sojang, a YouTube channel known for spreading unsubstantiated rumors about K-pop stars.
IVE will release its first photobook, "A Dreamy Day" on Aug. 31.
