Kang enlisted on June 20 and had written on his Instagram that he will "protect our country and come back in good health."

Jin uploaded two photos taken with Kang on fan community platform Weverse on Wednesday with the caption, “Seung-yoon, congratulations on completing your training. It was an enjoyable six weeks with you.”
Jin added that he hopes ARMY — BTS’s fandom — and Winner’s fandom Inner Circle would be delighted to see the photos taken with Kang.
Jin, real name Kim Seok-jin, is the eldest member and sub-vocalist of BTS and has been serving as a drill instructor after completing basic training upon enlisting in the Army last December for mandatory service. He is expected to complete his duties in June 2024.
