A man was hit and killed by a KTX bullet train on Wednesday morning at around 5:30 a.m. near Gasan Digital Complex Station in Seoul after illegally entering the railway tracks, said police.

It has not been confirmed why he entered the tracks.
Line 1 subway trains in both directions and KTX and general trains experienced delays for at least two hours following the incident.
