The Boyz will release a trilogy this year, according to the boy band’s agency IST Entertainment on Tuesday.
“The Boyz’s second full-length ‘Phantasy’ will be released as a series of three albums,” the agency said. The first part titled “Christmas In August” is set to drop on Aug. 7.
The band revealed three posters on Tuesday, teasing the upcoming releases, on its official social media accounts. The posters were designed by artists from Mue Studio, a creative group that has collaborated with brands such as Adobe, Apple and Apple Music.
The “Phantasy” series centers around the catchphrase “We all dream of fantasies” and interprets the theme in The Boyz’s unique style.
The Boyz is an 11-member group that debuted in 2017. It consists of Sangyeon, Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Kevin, New, Q, Ju Haknyeon, Sunwoo and Eric. The boy band gained popularity after winning Mnet's music competition show "Road to Kingdom" (2020).
The boy band is currently on its second world tour, "Zeneration." The tour kicked off with a three-day performance at the KSPO Dome, southern Seoul in May and the band performed in Taiwan, Macau, the Philippines and in multiple Japanese cities.
