BTS member Jungkook's solo debut song "Seven" topped the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart on Tuesday.

This is the second time a K-pop artist has risen to number one on the chart after fellow BTS member Jimin's "Like Crazy." It is also the 68th time in Billboard history for a song to break through to number one upon entering the charts.

Jungkook's "Seven" is a song that is about wanting to spend seven days a week with the person you love and combines acoustic sounds with garage-music style.

The U.S. Billboard Hot 100 is considered one of the most significant music charts that shows the popularity of tracks featured on the chart.

The chart is ranked based on sales, streaming and radio play in the United States.

Before "Seven," Jungkook released two self-produced songs on SoundCloud, "Still With You" (2020) and "My You" (2022), but not commercially.

He also participated in different collaboration albums, with songs including "Stay Alive" (2022), a theme song for "7Fates: Chakho," a fantasy webtoon created in collaboration with BTS, and "Dreamers" (2022) for the official soundtrack of the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar.
