Hana Bank is teaming up with Poland-based Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) to expand its global investment banking activities.
Hana Bank CEO Lee Seung-lyul visited the Polish bank on July 13 to strengthen global cooperation.
He met with his counterpart at BGK, Beata Daszyńska-Muzyczka, to discuss ways to work together on development and reconstruction projects in eastern Europe, including Ukraine.
They also discussed plans to finance Korean companies operating in the region.
A number of battery and defense companies operate in Poland, including chemical maker SKC.
Hana and BGK also agreed to cooperate in global investment banking in real estate, aircraft, infrastructure and mergers and acquisition.
