BB Girls will return with a new album on Aug. 3, its agency Warner Music Korea said Thursday.
A "Coming Soon" poster released on Wednesday showed the four members of BB Girls — Minyoung, Youjoung, Eunji and Yuna — posing on a sofa, with the words "Coming Soon" and the release date, Aug. 3, written below it.
This will be the girl group's first music release since changing its group name from Brave Girls to BB Girls, after signing with their new agency Warner Music Korea.
"Shiny World," which dropped in June and was part of the soundtrack for the animation "Bastions," was released under the group's old name.
BB Girls is pronounced "beu-beu girls."
Brave Girls saw unprecedented success after its 2017 song "Rollin'" went viral four years later in 2021. Following the contract expiration with its original agency Brave Entertainment in February this year, all four members of the girl group signed an exclusive contract with Warner Music Korea.
