'King the Land' gains 4.6 million hours watched in a week

Romantic comedy “King the Land” starring Yoona and Junho returned to the top of Netflix’s non-English shows category at No. 1 on Wednesday.
According to the Netflix official site on Wednesday, “King the Land” garnered 4.6 million hours watched across the globe between July 10-16, the most in the non-English language category.
Set in a hotel, “King the Land” tells the story of a passionate hotelier Sa-rang, played by Yoona, and Junho, the heir to the group that runs the hotel, who fall in love with each other.
Besides “King the Land,” Netflix original “Celebrity” took second place at 3.3 million viewing hours and “See You In My 19th Life” took 8th place on the non-English language rankings.
Singer and actor Yoona debuted in 2007 in the MBC drama “Two Outs In The Ninth Inning,” and as a singer in the girl group Girls’ Generation. Yoona had leading roles in the dramas “You Are My Destiny” (2008-09) and “The K2” (2016), as well as in the movie “Exit” (2019).
Junho debuted as a member of boy band 2PM in 2008. He kicked off his acting career with the movie “Cold Eyes” in 2013.
