Hyundai’s all-new Santa Fe boasts bold new design for outdoor lifestyles

South Korea’s Hyundai Motor Co. revealed its radically transformed all-new Santa Fe on Tuesday, which features a lifestyle-based design typology to maximize rear cargo capacity and better accommodate outdoor and urban activities.

The fifth-generation midsize SUV, the first full model change since 2018, carries forward its signature nature-meets-city appeal while implementing major updates shaped by big data around the latest outdoor lifestyle trends.

The redesigned Santa Fe embodies a captivating blend of modernity and strength, drawing inspiration from its elongated wheelbase and spacious tailgate area. Its commanding presence is exemplified by the elevated hood, distinctive H-shaped headlamps, and striking fenders. These H-shaped headlamps seamlessly integrate with the lower front design featuring the H-motif, resulting in a visually harmonious and complete aesthetic. This innovative interpretation of the H-shaped design elements pays homage to Hyundai’s iconic ‘H’ emblem.

When viewed from the side, the extended wheelbase showcases a dynamic roofline that exudes confidence. The pronounced volume surrounding the fenders, well-defined wheel arches, and shortened front overhang contribute to the SUV’s robust and adventurous stance. Complementing these features are the impressive 21-inch wheels, adding an element of rugged sophistication to the overall design.
