UN-led operation to transfer oil from FSO Safer off Yemen coast

The Nautica is a super-tanker the UN purchased for taking the crude oil from the decaying FSO Safer. The beleaguered FSO Safer has not undergone maintenance since Yemen's war broke out in 2015 and was left abandoned off the Houthis-held port of Hodeidah in the Red Sea, posing a serious risk to the environment off the coast of Yemen due to the possibility of it breaking up or catching fire.
