American rapper and singer Post Malone will hold his first solo concert in Korea on Sept. 23.

Post Malone, known for a number of hit songs that topped the U.S. Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop charts, including “Congratulations” (2016), “Rockstar” (2017) and “Psycho” (2018), will perform at Kintex in Goyang, Gyeonggi.

Post Malone began his music career in 2011 and attracted mainstream recognition with his 2015 debut single “White Iverson,” which rose to number 14 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. His first studio album “Stoney” (2016) recorded 77 weeks on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop 100, becoming the longest-ever album to hold its place on the chart.

Post Malone’s second album “Beersongs & Bentley” (2018) was also a success, hitting three consecutive weeks on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart and being nominated for Album of the Year at the 61st Grammy Awards. His third and fourth albums, “Hollywood’s Bleeding” (2019) and “Twelve Carat Toothache,” also featured a number of songs that hit the top ten on the Hot 100 chart.

The American rapper and singer is making a stop in Korea as part of his "If Y'all Weren't Here I'd Be Crying" world tour to promote his fifth album "Austin," which will be released on July 28.

The "If Y'all Weren't Here I'd Be Crying" tour will begin on Aug. 29 in Santiago, Chile. This is Post Malone's first time performing in Korea.

Tickets for the concert range from 121,000 won ($95) to 176,000 won and can be purchased on Yes24 (ticket.yes24.com). Regular sales for tickets will begin at noon on July 20.
