HYBE IM's upcoming online game Dragon Blaze 2: Knights of Veda will be presented at the upcoming Gamescom 2023 global gaming show next month.
Gamescom is one of the three largest gaming festivals in the world, alongside E3 and Tokyo Game Show. This year's event is set to take place in Cologne, Germany, from Aug. 23 to 27.
Dragon Blaze 2: Knights of Veda is a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game (MMORPG) based on the Dragon Blaze game developed by local company Flint. HYBE IM, the gaming subsidiary of K-pop company HYBE, signed a global publishing deal with Flint last year and announced it during the G-Star 2022, Korea's annual gaming show.
Visitors will be able to try the PC version of the game at the Gamescom booth. PC and mobile versions were presented at G-Star 2022. The game is set to come out before the end of the year, but an exact date has not been set yet.
Other Korean gaming companies that will be attending Gamescom include Nexon and Pearl Abyss, but their games have not been announced yet. NCSoft will not be attending, but the global publisher of NCSoft's newest title TL (Throne and Liberty) Amazon Games will be attending.
