Erick Fedde led the NC Dinos to an 11-2 win over the Lotte Giants in the Nakdong River Derby on Wednesday, taking his 12th W of the season and tying the KBO record for a single pitcher earning a win against all nine opposing teams in the fewest games.

Fedde pitched six and one third innings at NC Dinos Park in Changwon, South Gyeongsang on Wednesday, giving up four hits with one run earned while his offense secured a 5-1 lead. The Dinos picked up another six runs after Fedde was sat down, with Lotte adding one more at the top of the ninth.

That win came in Fedde’s 15th start of the season, tying Yang Hyeon-jong of the Kia Tigers’ 2019 record of earning a win against every opposing team in 15 games.

Fedde started his seasons with a win against the Samsung Lions on April 1, adding the Kiwoom Heroes to his list of conquests a week later on April 7. The Kia Tigers fell to the former big leaguer on April 25, with Fedde rounding off his debut month in the KBO with a win over the Hanwha Eagles on April 30.

Fedde added the KT Wiz to his list on May 9, but revisited the Heroes, Lions and Eagles for three more wins that month.

In June, Fedde took down the league-leading pair of the LG Twins on June 3 and SSG Landers on June 9, adding the Doosan Bears to the list on June 28.

After taking his second loss of the season at the hands of the Heroes last week, Fedde rounded off his tally with a win over the Giants on Wednesday.

With 12 wins, two losses and just 17 earned runs in 89 and two thirds innings pitched so far this season, Fedde is also riding a league-leading 1.71 ERA going into the All Star break on Friday.

If Fedde can continue that momentum after the break, he could be on track to be the first pitcher to challenge for a sub-2.0 ERA since Toronto Blue Jays starter Ryu Hyun-jin recorded a 1.82 ERA with the Hanwha Eagles in the 2010 season.
