Fans of actor Gong Yoo donated 9 million won ($6,890) to the Korea Childhood Leukemia Foundation on Monday to celebrate the actor's birthday.

This is the seventh year that YOO & I has made a donation to go to children's cancer care, according to the foundation. The donations have been given to 10 children with cancer to help with their treatment.

"We made the donation hoping to continue actor Gong Yoo's goodwill," the fan club said in a press release.
