Preorders for boy band ZeroBaseOne's debut album "Youth in the Shade" surpassed 1.08 million copies in 13 days, the band's agency WakeOne said Wednesday.
This is the highest number for a newly-debuting group, according to the agency. If all preordered amount is actually sold, it will also be the first time a debut album sells over a million copies, the agency added.
ZeroBaseOne, also stylized as ZB1, is set to debut on July 10.
ZeroBaseOne is a nine-member project group that was formed through cable network Mnet's audition program, "Boys Planet."
The nine members — Zhang Hao, Sung Han-bin, Seok Matthew, Ricky, Park Gun-wook, Kim Tae-rae, Kim Gyu-vin, Kim Ji-woong and Han Yu-jin — will be signed for two and a half years under WakeOne, a CJ ENM subsidiary.
