Singer Jo Yuri will return with an EP in early August.
“Jo Yuri is currently preparing her EP, aiming for a comeback in early August,” Jo Yuri's agency Wakeone told the Korea JoongAng Daily on Tuesday.
The upcoming album will be the singer’s second EP. Her last music release was her second single, “Op.22 Y-Waltz: in Minor” (2022), which continued the theme of her first EP, “Op.22 Y-Waltz: in Major” which was released four months prior to the single, in June.
Jo Yuri debuted as a member of project girl group IZ*ONE in 2018 after coming in second place on cable network Mnet’s audition program “Produce 48” the same year. After the girl group disbanded in 2021, she made her solo debut in 2021 with her first single “Glassy.”
Jo Yuri started her acting career in 2022, taking the lead role in Playlist’s web drama “Mimicus.” She will also be starring in Netflix’s highly anticipated original series, “Squid Game Season 2.”
