Focus Essay - The search for the perfect sound

epa10716860 Svetozar Bogdanovski, self-taught violin maker, works on a new violin at his atelier in Veles, Republic of North Macedonia, 07 May 2023. Before he became a luthier, Bogdanovski had spent his whole life as a painter.
