Veteran R&B band g.o.d will hold a concert in September in celebration of its 25th anniversary of debut in collaboration with TV broadcaster KBS.
Details of the concert have not been decided yet, including the exact date and venue.
The concert is a part of KBS's series of large-scale concerts planned for the biggest names in the domestic pop music market.
Starting with Na Hoon-a 2020, KBS has held special concerts for singers Shim Soo-bong and Lim Young-woong in 2021, Song Hae, Song Ga-in and folk band Songgolmae in 2022.
Band g.o.d, also written as god in Korean, was one of the biggest boy bands in the early 2000s.
The band debuted in 1999 with its first album, "Chapter 1," and was beloved by domestic fans with hits such as "To Mother," "Love and Remember" and "Sorrow" in 1999, "One Candle" and "Lies" in 2000 and "Road" in 2001. Consisting of five members — Park Joon-hyung, Yoon Kye-sang, Danny Ahn, Son Ho-young and Kim Tae-woo — they are also individually active as entertainers, solo singers and actors.
