Girl group ILY:1 will drop its second EP “New Chapter” on July 25, its agency FC ENM announced Monday.
The upcoming album will be the girl group’s first new album since its first EP, “A Dream of ILY:1” released in January.
“The new album is filled with ILY:1’s aspirations, who sang the songs of hope and light. ILY:1 will open its new page and run toward the new world that they have dreamt of,” the agency said.
Producer Chancellor, whose real name is Michal Kim, has been involved in the production of its upcoming lead track.
Girl group ILY:1, pronounced eye-lee-one, made its debut in April 2022 with its first single “Love In Bloom. ILY:1 consists of six members: Hana, Rona, Ririka, Nayu, Ara and Elva. Hana and Ririka are Japanese, Rona is Taiwanese, and the other three members are Korean. Hana, Ririka, Rona and Ara were formerly contestants on Mnet’s idol audition program “Girls Planet 999” (2021).
