Korea Ginseng Corporation (KGC) announced its participation in the 2023 TFWA World Exhibition & Conference held in Singapore from May 7 to 11. KGC aims to seek new business opportunities beyond the Asian market, with expansion to the Middle East and Europe.

2023 TFWA World Exhibition & Conference is the world’s largest tax-free exhibition, held twice a year, in Singapore in May and in France in October.

KGC participated for the fourth time since its first participation in 2017, introducing its flagship products of CheongKwanJang, which is the world’s No.1 brand for the 10th straight year in the ginseng market. KGC operated the largest booth for health functional foods aiming to progress its image of a leading brand while applying Korean traditional design patterns on its booth, emphasizing natural materials.

The CheongKwanJang booth featured its flagship products, organizing ginseng, deer antler and liquid glue zones, and also introduced products in collaboration with Dong-E E-Jiao Co Ltd which engages in the health food industry. To showcase the brand experience, its lounge zone offered cocktails using CheongKwanJang’s vitality and good base products. CEO of KGC Her Chul-ho visited the site and browsed the CheongKwanJang booth and lounge, looking to spot global tax-free business trends.

“As a leading health functional food brand of Korea, CheongKwanJang is to take the lead in the global duty-free market,” said a KGC official. “KGC will pave its way by continuing our effort with the aim to make a healthy tomorrow all around the world.”
