Girl group TRI.BE will drop an English version of its song “Wonderland” on May 26, agency TR Entertainment announced Thursday.
“Wonderland,” first included as a B-side track on the girl group’s latest album “W.A.Y” released in February, is a nu-disco genre track that features dreamlike synth pad sounds mixed with groovy rhythms.
The English version is being released alongside the group’s first U.S. tour, aiming to communicate with the overseas fans of the girl group, according to the agency.
TRI.BE will hold “TRI.BE Vida Loca 2023 USA Tour” from June 6 in Orlando, Florida, stopping in various U.S. cities, including New York, Boston and Los Angeles. The girl group is likely to perform “Wonderland” for the first time on the tour.
“Wonderland (English Ver.)" will drop on May 26, at 1 p.m. in Korea and at noon in Eastern Standard Time in the United States.
Seven-member girl group TRI.BE — Songsun, Kelly, Jinha, Hyunbin, Jia, Soeun and Mire — debuted in 2021 with its first single “TRI.BE Da Loc.” With Jinha temporarily halting group activities due to health issues in 2022, the group has been active as a sextet.
The girl group most recently released “W.A.Y” on Feb. 14, with lead track “We Are Young,” an upbeat techno-pop track, a departure from the girl group’s existing charismatic concepts.
