Singer-songwriter Jay Park will drop "Candy," a single featuring Zion.T on May 23, his self-established agency More Vision said Wednesday.
The upcoming single is produced by Cha Cha Malone, the American producer responsible for producing many of Jay Park's hit tracks, including "Abandoned" (2011) and "All I Wanna Do" (2016), and features R&B singer and rapper Zion.T.
The single's teaser video released on Wednesday shows blue candies, with "Jay Park Flavor" written below, hinting that the single will continue the singer-songwriter's existing musical style.
Jay Park debuted in 2008 as the leader of boy band 2PM under JYP Entertainment. He left the band in 2009 and started fresh with his solo EP "Count On Me" the following year. Jay Park's most recently released single, "Sunday Night Drive," released on April 24, is the theme song for the KBS2 late-night music show "The Seasons: Jay Park's Drive" (2023).
Jay Park works actively also as a music producer, establishing multiple labels, including AOMG in 2013, H1ghr Music in 2017 and More Vision in 2021. Jay Park currently only manages his newest label, More Vision, with both AOMG and H1gher Music currently operated by CJ ENM, CJ's entertainment division.
