Girl group Fifty Fifty’s song “Cupid” has been on the U.K. Official Singles Chart Top 100 list for seven weeks straight as of Friday.
The chart announced that “Cupid” now ranks No. 8, moving up a place from the previous week. The No. 9 ranking made Fifty Fifty the first K-pop girl group to land a song in the chart’s top 10.
Since its release on Feb. 24, “Cupid” has steadily crept up the chart, starting with No. 96, No. 61, No. 34, No. 26, No. 18, No. 9 and now No. 8.
Other K-pop acts that previously landed on the British chart were BTS’s Jimin at No. 8 with “Like Crazy” and Pinkfong at No. 6 with “Baby Shark.”
“Cupid” is ranked No. 19 on Billboard’s Hot 100 singles chart as of May 13. Fifty Fifty has been on a roll this year after making headlines by becoming the fastest K-pop act ever to enter the Billboard Hot 100.
