National Museum of Korea hosts special exhibition with London's National Gallery

The National Museum of Korea in Yongsan District, central Seoul, will be hosting a special exhibition in collaboration with the National Gallery in London, in June.
Titled "Masterpieces from the National Gallery, London," the upcoming display celebrates the 140th anniversary of Korea-U.K. diplomatic relations.
The exhibition will show 52 pieces from notable Western artists including Sandro Botticelli, Raphael, Titian, Caravaggio, Nicolas Poussin, Diego Velázquez, Anthony van Dyck, Rembrandt, Francisco Goya, Thomas Lawrence, Édouard Manet, Claude Monet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir and Vincent van Gogh.
From Renaissance art to Impressionism, the exhibition depicts supernatural gods as well as humans going about their daily lives.
"Masterpieces from the National Gallery, London," begins on June 2 and will continue until Oct. 9.
Tickets to the exhibition go on sale from 10 a.m. on May 15, with additional dates being added every two weeks. It is 18,000 won ($13) for adults.
