NewJeans will hold its first fan meet and greet “Bunnies Camp” on July 1 and 2, the girl group’s agency ADOR announced Friday.
The 20-second teaser uploaded on the girl group’s official YouTube channel showed the members of NewJeans in a video made to look as if it was shot through an old camcorder, in line with the girl group’s "newtro" theme.
The poster for the fan meet and greet, also released on the same day, showed six different objects, each with tick boxes, hinting at the upcoming fan meet and greet.
The fan meet and greet will be held at the SK Olympic Handball Gymnasium in Songpa District, southern Seoul, on July 1 and 2, with both days of the event livestreamed on Weverse.
Tickets, priced at 99,000 won ($74), will be available to purchase for members of NewJeans’ fan club on May 26, with general ticket sales starting on May 31.
Online live streaming tickets will be priced at 59,400 won for a single-day livestream and 110,000 won for both days, with the two-day online ticket only sold to fan club members.
NewJeans is a five-member girl group that debuted in August 2022 with the EP “New Jeans” under ADOR, a newly-founded music label under HYBE, led by Min Hee-jin, the former creative director of SM Entertainment. NewJeans stormed the global K-pop scene with successive hits, such as “Attention,” “Hybe Boy,” “Ditto” and “OMG.” The girl group received Rookie of the Year awards at multiple award ceremonies and received the Performance of the Year award from the Asia Artist Awards in December 2022.
