Urban hack: The fixers club of Istanbul streets

'Onaranlar Kulubu' (The Fixer Club), an artists' collective in Istanbul, transforms urban spaces that have been abandoned or seem broken, giving them a new lease of life. With the aim of making cities and communities more sustainable, the Fixers use the congested and chaotic canvas of Istanbul to make eye-catching street installations for thousands of people to view every day. Their latest creation, which features characters from the hugely popular cartoon Rick & Morty, is of a portal opening above the door of an abandoned building in Istanbul, that 'ends' in the German city of Cologne, where Coach e.V, an education and equal opportunity initiative, is based.
