The Boyz will drop its second Japanese full-length album “Delicious” on June 13, the boy band’s agency IST Entertainment announced on Wednesday.
With the lead track of the same name, “Delicious” is The Boyz’ second Japanese full-length album, following "She's The Boss" which dropped in May last year and first Japanese full-length album "Breaking Dawn" released in 2021.
“'Delicious' is a pop-dance track that features cheerful tunes with electric guitar sounds that popping in every now and then. With messages ‘the world is bright, and will remain bright with you by my side’ the album will show the boy band’s kitschy side,” explained the press release.
The Boyz plans to kick off its second world tour, “Zeneration” before releasing “Delicious,” with a three-day performance at the KSPO Dome, Songpa District, southern Seoul on May 19, 20 and 21, and continue the tour in Japan from May 31, performing in Niigata, Kobe, Nagoya, Fukuoka and Hiroshima with more destinations set to be added at a future date.
The Boyz is an 11-member group that debuted in 2017. It consists of Sangyeon, Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Kevin, New, Q, Ju Haknyeon, Sunwoo and Eric. The boy band gained popularity after winning Mnet's music competition show "Road to Kingdom" (2020). Its most recent release was EP “Be Awake” on February 20.
